POLISH-GERMAN INTERMEDIA WORKSHOPS

These integrative workshops, based on practical activities, include
a number of elements taken from both film art and the basics of
journalism. The workshops will take place on both sides of the
border – in Szczecin and Neubrandenburg, which will enable the
participants to observe and then to picture (using the means they
will have gotten to know during the workshops) the festival's
trans-frontier character. The participants of the workshops,
divided into groups that take their interests into account, will learn
the secrets of journalism, photography, and video art. Among
other things, they will get familiar with the theory of film media,
they will learn to use different journalist genres, and they will
use their newly acquired skills to create the festival newspaper,
distributed both in Poland and Germany. The festival newspaper
will be published with the help of the University of Szczecin.
